Hi, i am going to help you trouble shoot issues with your torque tube.

Step 1: Check all the torque tube gears after a crash! Even though there may not be any external damage to the torque tube drive gears they still may be stripped internaly. Insure that the front and back gears that make direct contact with the torque tube still have the 4 teeth slots un damaged, even though it still may spin the tail rotor without any issues, it has the possibility to slip under a load and cause even more damage. Thats the first thing you want to check.

Step 2: After replacing/ checking gears, always test fit before flight! Alway make sure you test fit things before you go fly it, everything might move alright but insure that it's properly fitted! If you torque tube is not fitted in the gears properly there is the possibility of it disengaging during flight! Use some lubrication in the tail boom and on the black grommets for the torque tube bearings, after sliding the torque tube in the grommet could slide back and over the torque tube clamps and prevent a full gear insert. It's recommended that you assemble the tail set and put it on the frames fully assembled to prevent the gromets from comming off.

Step 3: Field testing: When first testing i recomend some hard tail stops to insure that the torque tube is secure and will not disengage during flight. If your receiving tail vibrations insure that the bearings are secure and at the correct posistions, vibrations can lead to more problems.

A well built helicopter will perform even better, i hope this helped make your Trex 700 a better helicopter!

Some good pointers, but I think you might need to re-take the pictures as they are very out of focus and spoil a good bit of explanation. Check where your focus point is on the camera and that you are not too close to the object that the camera is unable to focus.

Thanks for the info. :)
