Can someone kindly recommend THE BEST miniature camera setup to use as a downlink?
Am I correct in saying that if I use a digital camera for a job, I would mount the downlink camera in the same plane and field of view as my lens?
Then for a video job (let's say an HC3) , am I correct in saying that I can bypass the miniature downlink camera altogether and just plug the video out from the HC3 into the video transmitter?
Thank you for your help and recommendation!

only DSLR's need to have a board camera mounted to the eyepiece for live video. point and shoot and pseudo-DSLR's will have live output that you can wire directly to the downlink TX.
A camcorder will work the same way.... direct to downlink TX.

Thanks DJ. Since I only have two Canon DSLRs for digital cameras, I will need to find a good downlink system. Any suggestions?

Ziggy,
If you go to my Gallery over on RunRyder ( I think you can do a search for TCGliderguy and find it.....) I have pix posted of my Nikon D-70 with the Panasonic viewfinder camera from Bill at BlackwidowAV.com ... and the GentLED IR trigger from James Gentles.
Hope this helps!

Problem is Will that most DSLR cameras will only send video for a few seconds AFTER you take a picture. The one I sent above connect to the viewfinder for a constant video feed.

Thanks for all the advice! I guess a more cost effective option would be to consider what DebianDog posted, although I could not find a price to save my life. Debian, do you have any experience with that product? I'm curious to know about the image quality.
Thanks!
