Im pretty certain ill be getting a outrage 550 , I have a spare solid g gyro lying around. I was wondering if anyone has used this gyro on the 550. I know people had troubles with this gyro on the 500 class helis due to the electrical noise associated with electric helis. Does the 550 provide adequate spacing for this gyro to work well on this heli???

Than x

The gyro on my 550 is up front, with the motor & ESC in the back...

I have never used a solid G though..

The Solid G works great on the Outrage... it acted a little funny when first mounted with the thin, white mounting tape from CY. Used a piece of the thick tape that came with a Spartan and it works great. It also works great mounted on a piece of Futaba tape.

I just received a Mini G yesterday to try in my Logo.

I have one on mine, but still has not tweaked it yet. It acts strange but has a good hold. It creeps from time to time and I have to reboot to correct this. It's a good solid gyro but I like the feel of the logictech 6100. The mini G controls a futaba 9254 servo.
