PINIONS!!!!!!

I've found in the UK a factory that has the pinions for the Lepton.
The only drawback is the different bore.
The hole for the shaft is 4mm instead of 5mm.

I'll order 18-19-20-21-22-23 and then with the late I'll make a larger hole.

Looks like their is no set screw on this pinions. You will have to glue them to the motor. Not so cool...

I'll make the holes for the set screw on the boss side.

thats only 2mm wide - perhaps they can do custom longer 5mm bore ones?

The height of the boss is 8mm and the face is 6 mm.

I think on 8mm I can make the holes for the set screws.

You said they are 5mm bore? Ikarus always has great pinions. Hopefully these are what you're looking for.

I believe those are .5 mod pinions not .6 mod.

My mistake (I don't fly a lepton), contact ikarus though (phone is best, email if you can't) and ask. They make all the best pinions, if they see a demand they will make what you need. :)

I contacted ikarus through an email and they confirmed that those pinions on their site are 0.5 module, which is of no use to us Lepton owners.

Can someone comform that mod 6 is 48 pitch
I have a guy that may can help us out but I need to make sure what pitch it is

Good to know so has any found any pinions that are the same pitch but wrong shaft size? I am starting to thing it would be easier to get a main gear that has a standard pitch vers. finding pinions
