Guys

I am about to fit a GV-1 to my Tempest, using a JR 9X2 (9303 equivalent).
Is it preferable to have the govenor switch on with a seperate switch, or is stick position the prefered option.

Also, as I am using the JR Tx are there any problems that may arise during installation.

Lastly, should I instal the sensor and bracket on the needle valve side of the engine (pretty crowded) or is it OK to set on the exhaust side?

Thanks and regards

Peter

I have a Stratus and I fitted the sensor on the needle valve side ( YS ). Also, I like a seperate switch to disable the gov. at any time I want or need to. I use a Futaba trans, so I can't help with the JR question.

Peter,
I used stick switch and a seperate switch also. I did this so if I wanted to fly without the GV1 on that I could turn it off via a switch on the transmitter.
I have mounted the sensor on the exhaust side and also the needle side. I just did the one that was easiest.

Stick switch needs to be used also, it will make it easier to turn off the GV1 during an autorotation.
