Just installed the 50 in my new machine & upon running the fuel line the barbed nipple on the carb is so close to the fins at the lower part of the jug the fuel line wont go on. From a quick glance it looks as though I'll have to remove the nipple & grind a little of the fin off to get it to go on. Anyone else run into this?

I dont have that problem on any of mine, are you sure the carb isn't cocked or something? There's an index mark on the carb and the case on the side opposite the needle, make sure they are lined up, you don't want your fuel going in sideways.

The index lines are about 1/2 a line off. I'll rotate it to line them up & see what happens.
