Hi,
I 'm a helicopter's pilot italian,I wish that you received me.Have someone the Webra GT 55H?Can you give me some information for it?Thanks at all.Have a nice day!
What do you want to know?
It likes HV oil better than LV
It's a bit tricky to tune compared to the OS50
But you are probably used to SuperTiger and Novarossi,
the Webra has a similar carb to them

Hi Kingston
Better stick to OS... Unless you know how to get a Webra work well...
If you still want to get a webra take the AAR P5 version... Will last longer....
And doent forget a Webra needs a lot of fuel to break in... doent even try before you got threw the 2-3 first gallons...

TO be true this is th worst engine you can buy for a .50 heli...
THe roadage will take about 20Las this motor hasent got a Ring and Webra will take a real long time to break in... if I were you i would send it back and ask for the new AAR... its exactly the same motor but has a piston ring: the motor will break in quicklyer and will last much longer!
And break the motor in with the same fuel you will fly after...
If you know how totune and break in a motor you will have a hole lot of fun with it...
Fred
one other tip: don't ever run it lean, not even for half a tank or so.
My 52AAR had a lean run, the first time ever that it produced power, and also the last time :(

sorry dunno.... contact webra... they will surely know more...
You better give that motor back or sell/trade it for a Hyper or so...
Freddy
You would need to change BOTH the piston and liner,
and some Webra have liner and block as one unit.
The OS50 does have the edge on the Webra 55/P5
I have never liked ringless engines,
and I have no experience with your model of Webra
But from my experience with Webra 91
you should use the AAR and red head version
The black head versions make best power at very high RPM
you need gearing of 9.0 or 9.2 or even 9.4
You should break in using Castor
the Webra liner very much likes that
and this is what Webra reccomend
(although most people in HongKong break in on synthetic)
If you are good at tuning and can fly and have patience
and you don't want to buy another engine,
then put it in and see how it goes
But the easy solution is to install OS50, use 20% Klotz KL198, 20% nitro,
four tanks to run in and then fly very happy...so easy

Good luck trying to prove the engine. But if you prefer to run 0% to 10% % nitro fuel. It should be OK. Just don't think it will be powerhouse of the OS 50 Hyoer.
