View Full Version : Servo arms, flybarless
I have the JR 8717 cyclic servos, combined with flybarless setup (Mikado Vbar), and want some good servo arms. I'm using the Align JR servo arms right now (a bit more rigid than original JR servo arms), but they haven't got the right geometry (10-12 mm radius from center), so I'm curious what servo horns you guys are using. Preferably in metal, as my plastic servo arms does slip in hard moves.
Links is appreciated. :)

i have a 700 vbar with the mikado head conversion...i just drilled some align horns to 11mm, put short ball links on the inner swash and was able to hit all my numbers (collective gain, cyclic ring etc.) per the calculator tool on the vbar site. you will have to run your ball links on the outside of the horn or you will bind with the servo case.
Thanks Jerry, already ordered 12 of those servo wheels. :)
gixxum, I was about to drill the holes, but as I wrecked the plastic wheels in the last crash, I guess I'm too lazy drilling holes for each "accident".. Accidents happen, believe me.. ;)
