will this work with the hyper 50 or is a must to start with a muffler designed for the hyper(this is my first nitro and ran into small setback money wise and cannot afford to splurge on a good pipe right now)i am going to get the hatori pipe desinged for the hyper when i get caught up with other "important" things as the wife calls them.

I m using the TT-50 and the TT muffler. I am not sure about the fittings wit an OS. But both the combi works well for me..

I've been using the stock tt pipe with the Os hyper for a while so I can afford my synergy build. It seems to run fine and I haven't had a problem with it at all yet. But, like you, I am going to upgrade to the hatori too. I've got about 50-60 flights through it now.

It will work fine. You wont notice anything till you decide to upgrade it. Then you will get better headspeed holding out of a free flowing pipe. The TT pipe is a little restrictive.

Stock muffler will be OK but , you should use tuned muffler for O.S. .50 Hyper such as Curtis Youngblood Muscle Pipe . Otherwise you cannot get the full performance from your engine .
