Types of fuel

Does it really matter what fuel you buy. Wether it is heli fuel or planker fuel.

I am just curious, I was buying 15% helimix made buy Helicat and my store ran out. He said he was going to get more, and the fuel came in and I grabbed it but it was regular planker fuel. The Helimix has 18% synth oil and the planker fuel has 16% oil with a mixture of synth and castor oil.

I am worried that the 2% less oil is not good for my heli engine. Is this the case?

Really nothing to worry about as for the 2% less oil. I would suggest not using the fuel with castor unless you like cleaning all the metal parts after every flight.
The castor after a few flights will make the muffler look like it has been painted with a brown varnish.

But other than that , the fuel will run fine.
