Hey there, I have a cheapo walkera with no power. A buddy of mine said that he has a brushless motor sittin around that i can have. Will the factory electronics be able to support the brushless efficently?

If the factory motor was a Mabuchi brushed motor, then no, the original electronics will not drive a brushless motor. Worse, if the stock electronics were an integrated receiver, BEC and ESC, you'll have to replace this one item with a separate Rx and Brushless ESC/BEC unit.
