The only thing I have had "break" in 10 months and 4 gallons is my rubber stopper in the tank. But, I have a 11T pinion they sent me the wrong pinion and I sent it back.
I know the standard clutch has issues and that is why there is a heavy duty one available now.
Never had any tail issues.

I heard that even the HD Clutch has issuses, I knew that the stopper was going to be a problem from the start so I did Away with taht from the start.

The HD Clutch doesnt really have any issues, hard to get lined up but once its in its great. That is the only clutch I have flown with and no problems yet. Its a little grabby at idle, but I havent broken one yet. What fell apart on your tail?
As far as gear ratio's they set it up for the the RPM's Zenoa suggested you run it at.
I to have changed the gear ratio to 6.92 with the V2 pipe for 3D flight, as much 3D, as much as I can do anyway. I cant really say I have ever had a linkage come off that I setup right, we all make mistakes sooner or later. I feel the tail box is a very good setup. Torque tube bearing bushings need to be glue in place tho, it should be made a not in manual!
I just setup my second gasser at 7.15 gear ratio. Will be a nite flyer. Will keep you informed how that works out as well.
