Did JR move the offending regulator on X9303 ?

I have read some hinting that the regulator that chafs the aileron gimbal wire has been moved in the X9303 to fix this issue.

Can anyone confirm or deny this? I'm not going to lie..it's affecting my purchase decision slightly.

I'm not sure about the regulator position, but I do know that on a recently purchased 9303 the wire is routed up and around in a totally different path. Its not exposed like it is in the how-to-fix pictures. If no one else chimes in I can open it up and take a look tonight.

Frank, thanks for your reply. I heard one of the fixes involved a longer wire loom that was a better fix than the one posted on their website, yours sounds like it might be describing this.

Yes, the regulator is now repositioned to the centre of the pcb. How do I know ? I have just repaired 2 DSX9's.
