Well I have never had the patience to educate myself to make models on the sim. Wondering if anyone could help my lazy ass out? lol.

Do you have add-ons four? I threw this together using the Caliber 30 model as a base for the Logo 14. You have to ignore the engine and pipe (and of course the caliber canopy). It has 560mm blades. 5s4p lipo. And of course idle ups. Let me know if it needs tweaking and I'll do my best. I never saw the Logo 14 so I don't know the characteristics. Just went by what I saw from a review I read.

You have to copy the rex files (and blade if you want it, also based on the Concept EP) to the appropriate files in your G3 install folder. Just import the Logo as a G3X.

Just a note....Don't try to install it if you don't have the add-on. The program will remind you every time you start it that you have models that won't work.

I have all the add ons yes. I tried it and it is much less powerfull than mine, much. But hey none the less thank you for helping anyways.

By powerful, do you mean responsive? Or does it need more headspeed? We have the technology, we can rebuild him. Even do a proper colorscheme if we get it right.

And as far as your handle goes : ICDEDBDI'S. UCDI'S? :D

Van Halen, guess I might be a tad older than you. It was an album was all, a handle in other forums I have had for awhile now. :) Anyhow more headspeed, lift, different looking all together as well.

Headspeed is easy, which should also help with the lift. Appearance is another thing. That's a lot of work, but I "might" see what I can come up with. Do you have a scanner? If you scan the canopy it's a lot easier to make a realistic looking scheme for it. That's how I did the rex and blade colorschemes. Although the lipo ended up in the back, but at least the canopies are the real thing.

Did you happen to try the rex? It seems pretty close to my HDE. Don't have an SE, so not familiar with the characteristics there. IIRC the blade is in that file too. Way too easy to fly compared to the real one. But hey, it looks cool.

I need a flat on side view at eye level for it to work. Also the higher the resolution the better.

Here is the setup of Mikado's pilot Patrick Magnus' rig

LOGO14 Setup
Lipo: 10S1P Flightpower Evo 20 new Formulation 3700mAh
Engine: Kontronik Tango 45-10
Automatic controller: Kontronik jazz 55-10-32
Pinion: 17 teeth module 0,7
Rotor blades: 600mm v-Blades
Servos: Futaba 9650
Tail servo: Futaba 9251
Rotor head number of revolutions: 2050 with + - 11° pitch

I used these to modify the Logo 14, very impressive.

Andy, could you PM me your modded Logo? Or better yet, post it so others can pull it. To do that you have to export the model as a G3X. Then you have to make a zip file of it or the forum won't accept it.

Did you make a colorscheme for it? If so, add it to the zip file.

Still have not found anyone that made a good one close to it. Apparently someone made a good one for reflex, but that does a G3 guy no good lol.

I will try to get some straight side shots as requested, zooland may have to be the hero to all Logo owners who are noobs making models on g3, lol.

just bumping this topic back up to the top. i'd love to get a logo 14 for the sim. anyone think they can change, or whatever, a file for reflex to use on G3? i've been banging my head :arggg: trying to learn 3dmax but it's a little above my abilities.
thanks

I tried to use 600 heli to do the modification, but can't get it stable in the air. Gyro always messed up. Heli always crashes before taking off.

Then I made a little change on the Aurora 3D in the add-on pack 2 for G3.5:
Change to electric power, use Actro 32-3
Use a 11S lipo
Bumped up the headspeed to 2250 at idle up 2
collective pitch to +/-13
Lower the throttle servo response to .1s
Sorry, can get the Pipe out from the graphics.

Heli is very responsive and stable now. I know this is far from real L14. Just a test to see if it is working. Shawn, Chuck, Can you Logo pilots try it and let me know?

(I customized the battery, but don't know how to export it. You can do the mod yourself, when import, choose edit "Aurora 3D E". At the navigation tree, find "AireFrame->Main battery", click on Cell type to bring up the battery editor. Choose a Lipo from the list or make a new one yourself)

still looking.
