JR Radio setting - Help Required Please

I have installed the free fms program and have a JR 6102 radio. The manual with the radio doesn't tell me how to connect using the dsc jack on the back of the radio. What I am after is the process to set the radio so it is sending a signal down the cable, not transmitting. TIA

I'm sure it's transmitting but your pc might not receive.

What cable are you using?

I'm not sure on the 6102, but my 8103 and my 9303 bot turn on automatically when I plug in the DSC cord. If you turn it on, the DSC cord might not work for what you want to do.

As a matter of fact, when I'm training somebody with a trainer cord, the radio that is the "slave" (trainee) is turned off and only comes on when I plug in the trainer cable. The Master radio (trainer) is on, because it is the one transmitting the signal.

I hope I did not create more confusion.

With my XF421 (planker Tx), when the DSC is on, you are not transmitting! But I had noticed with the free download sims, they wont let you use your radio. How could they sell the original if you got what you wanted for free! Like the G3 download, you can only use the keyboard!
