What's up with the stock white/pink blades? I haven't seem them for sale anywhere. I have plenty of Align woodies and some CF blades but the stock blades work quite well for me so far. I'd rather they weren't pink on one side (who came up with THAT idea?) but luckily you don't see it once they're at speed. Given the opportunity I'd prefer to buy stock if they're priced right. Anyone seen them listed anywhere online? I don't need any right now but it would be nice to know where to get them when I do.

Hi,

They are right here:

First two parts at the top of the page. They are SWE blades.

Best,
Frank

My last parts order was from them a month ago and didn't see the blades. I wonder if they're a new addition. For the price it looks like CF would be the better buy though. I was hoping they'd be around the price of the China clones.

The "China" version of the stock SWE blades are $18 a set. Is that too expensive?

No but they're half price for a reason. I'll wait to hear from others about any issues with them before buying. I just don't trust a lot of the clone parts out there. I'm set for blades for quite a while anyway and haven't broken my originals yet. I was just wondering why I hadn't seen them carried anywhere I had looked before.

I had wondered about the denomination "China". Since SWE is a South Korean company, you think the China ones are just "cheap" clones from China?

That's my guess. I had a blade failure just after liftoff on a T-Rex a year or so ago. Half of blade almost hit me and caused the most damage ever to the heli. Broke just about everything BUT the frame. That was with Align woodies. I won't take an even greater risk by trying no name clones.

THAT was the exact look on my face. Blade failed at the bolt hole and split into two pieces. Sounded like a ricochet when the pieces departed. Blades were new but could have been damaged while moving the bird around or just one in a million thing. Never had any problems before or since. I still have Pro woodies on my T-Rex.
