Which pinion for align 430l

trying to put together a Shogun v2 313mm wood blades. and a 430l. i need to know what size pinion to run on this setup. and does it matter which size battery to use. like 3cell lipo 11.1 1500ma. thanks Jerry :arggg:

I run it 13t on a trex, in low timing mode long flight times (12min) and lots of power.
3s 1500 might be a bit too small (unless they are 20c), i use 3s 2100mah 16c.

Low Timing is for 2 pole motors. The Align motor is a 6 pole and should use mid timing or high timing for more power, which will draw more juice. All acc to instructions for the ESC.
Pinion depends on main gear size and what HS you want. The Rex has a 150T main gear and will fly well both on 11 and 13T pinion. The 13T pinion can give you 3k HS on a Rex but as mentioned, probably not on that battery.
