Stratus and battery

Hi guys,
I purchased a duralite Li-Ion 4000, regulator, and a step down for t/r servo. I was running a NiMh 3300, but I got tired of recharging every couple of flights.
The question I have is where do you install the regulator. Could it be on top of the battery, or it has to be seperated?

On the extreme I had I installed the reg in the same spot as the gov or gyro would go. Didnt cause any interference for me.

I am running the long tray and I am putting the regulator between the pack and frame. I have mounted the regulator to the side of the frame also but I like it up front the best.

Did you run into problems mounting the reg' to the side of the frame?

no , no problems but I did run a piece of velcro around it as it came off once. :roll:
