I'm trying to find out if 6v regulated power supply will fry an 8311. The servo box makes no mention of the 6v as an option or anything, only 4.8:dontknow

You will be fine on 6V REGULATED. A fully charged 4.8V battery pack has a voltage above 6V. Helifreak Pinecone has discussed this with JR reps and been told JR servos are ok on 6V Regulated.
