Crunch....

Okay I got my transmitter back. However, the setting where all there. I did some tweeking to my heli without testing it with my radio. I get out to the field to fly today and I dont' have enough pitch. Something is wrong. I can't take off. Not sure what is going on so what I do, is I play with the swash settings. I spool up the heli and it tries to flip backwards :bomb:

So I hear an aweful CRUNCH noise! I had an accident. :(

I bent the tail boom, broke my tail servo, broke one of the main blade linkages and dented my main blades. It hit pretty hard.

So now I get to start from scratch.

The odd thing is, I am not upset. I am okay with the fact I crashed. AND to top it off, it is my birthday! It has been a great day so far! I get to rebuild my heli! I am going to take it apart and check the links to make sure they are all even and then try again.

That is cool you are ok with the crunch - I actually am more relaxed flying now that I don't worry about crashes - after a few crunches (my word for a mild crash) I now know the hubby mechanic can fix anything - and it IS going to happen anyway, so why stress about it.

We just got done flying - I haven't flown my TRex since we got the Swift - but tonight TJRIDE flew the swift and I flew my TRex - I still love flying it, I don't imagine we will ever get rid of her.

mmmm uppgrades. Well I will have to wait until I destroy the frame before I do upgrades. I already have the upgrades I want.

I want to upgrade my 450X to either the 450SE frame or 450XL frame. A lot of the build threads I have seen are with the 450SE frame plus I like hte way it looks.

Wow, what a fantastic day! I am going to wind down, dream of flying my heli and maybe get a few minutes in tomorrow AM if the weather holds.
