daaam those are niiice, cant wait til i have mine

1 question, you know the canopy shells and the rear fin, do they come pre painted in the kit, or are they clear for you to spray yourself, as i want to do a custom job on mine,

just look at my cars paintjob!!

All are white. Canopy is a bit hard to paint, chips easily...

yeah, but for rc cars, to eliminate the chipping of the paint, the shells are clear plastic, and are sprayed from the inside, so that if the car flips, it'l scratch the plastic, and not the precious paint?

surely must be the same for rc helis???

Align has clear canopies for the 450 that can be painted, don't think TT has. The fibreglas canopy would be easier to paint. The std canopy is from some fat plastic. I sanded mine, it sticks put not too pretty. Doesn't stay on the fins...

With that raptor canopy it should be cleaned then sprayed with paint adhesion helper.

You can try bulldog adhesion promoter but between the exhaust, fuel reside and the flex in the canopy they just dont hold paint well.

The plastic on the Hirobo canopies works a little better.

The best looking way to go is vinyl graphics as far as looking good and holding up.

Good Luck Ivan, you are gonna love every bit of time building the Titan...do take ur time and also an advice, you might want to get the simple upgrades first..like the SUS tail hub, larger gears, etc..

hey ivanp2,

you might also want to change the clunk lines in the main/header tanks while you're building and save yourself some trouble down the road. The stock lines are real thin and split easily.
