My new CapX

I just bought a Chip Hyde CapX. All the reviews that I read were very good but so far I'm less than impressed. The covering was so wrinkled that I had to re-shrink the entire plane and it still didn't come out very good. There was supposed to be axles and an aluminum motor mount supplied with the kit but all I found were 2- 4mm bolts that didn't even match, (but I got them to work), and no motor mount at all. So far I have 3 emails to them with NO response! Maybe they're just on vacation?? :roll:
Oh well, I'm gonna make it fly no matter what. If I like it, then I'll just re-cover it this winter!

Is anyone else flying one of these?

Hey, Chip got back to me today and offered to replace the Cap with another one and apologized for the problems! I told him replacement wasn't needed, the fact that he offered to make things right was all I wanted to hear. Two thumbs up! :thumbs-up2:
