Hi,
I'll have a go for you.
I'd say yes and no to be honest with you mate. The whole idea of this kinda mod is to raise the head speed of the little machines. The advantage of this as you may know is greater response and stability, as the faster the blades spin the more gyroscope effect there is.
Now our CP's do carry a lot of weight compared to the Fixed Pitch machines and thus have a slightly larger rotor disc.
I'm sure you could make the disk smaller, raising the head speed and then adding more pitch to compensate for the lack of blade and the machine may fly well.
On the other hand it may be very marginal.
If your game for it the only way is to try it out for yourself, then let us know :D
