Forget the V1. It was a good heli for its day, but it had lots of problems. It is probably only available used. The V2 solved many of not all the V1's problems. The changes were to the frames, the head the tail rotor hub, clutch/starter assembly, and various links. The V2 has be superseded by the Titan, but it may still be available in some markets. The Titan carries over all the major parts of the V2 but includes push/pull on collective and cyclic pitch. The V1 & V2 had push/pull on roll cyclic. The Titan also moves the tail rotor servo to the tail boom area and increases the length of the tail boom and belt so the heli can accommodate 620mm blades. The Titan also has a larger clutch bell bearing and the tail boom, tail boom supports and landing gear skids are a titanium looking color. The SE is a blinged out V2. It does not have push/pull control on collective or pitch cyclic but does have a rear mounted tail rotor servo. The major differences in the SE is the head which is all metal. Also, IMHO much better looking canopy graphics and the windshield is simulated carbon fiber. There are some other minor differences I'm sure, but that's all I can remember.

The Titan is the new kid on the block. I saw my first one yesterday and it's very nice. There isn't much to choose between the two. The Titan has the longer tail boom and belt , the rear mounted tail rotor servo, the cool looking titanium colored boom, boom supports and skids, not to mention the push-pull cyclic controls. The Titan lacks the carbon fiber base plate that is standard with the V2, but not really needed in either helicopter. In the North American market the V2 comes with both wood and carbon fiber blades, but I understand that it only comes with wooden blades elsewhere. In any event, the Titan comes with only wooden blades. This discussion may be moot as the supply of V2s is drying up fast.

ok, so titan is better than standard V2, are the parts the same though??
wat about the SE model, were does that compare against the titan?

The Titan is very much the same as the V2, just a couple of extras like cape bob said... longer tail boom and titanium colored boom, supports, and skids. All major components are the same. I'm very happy with mine.
The push/pull elevator is nice, the push/pull collective is kind of a pain and not necessarily needed. When i change servo's i might not even use it and just set up the collective like the V2.

The parts are interchangeable between the V2 and the Titan. For instance if you have a titan and don't like the longer boom you can get a V2 boom and belt and use that. The skids are identical except for the color. The servo frame is different than the V2 to accommodate the collective push-pull bell crank so if for some reason you don't like the Titan servo frame you can bolt on a V2 frame. The SE is identical to the V2 except for all the metal parts, carbon fiber tail boom and fins, windshield, and canopy stickers. All these parts can be used on a Titan except the tail boom which is too short to use without also getting a V2 belt. The SE is slightly heavier than either the V2 and Titan and flys no better.
Deftone is right except none of the push/pull stuff is really necessary if you are using quality ball bearing servos. I will fly a Titan for the first time tomorrow and will be surprised if I can detect any difference in the flying characteristics at all.

:arggg: :bomb: i realy dont know wich to go for,
i can get a V2 so easily, an realy cheaply, and parts are easy to get, but v2's dont have the tail servo mounted on the boom, wich kinda sucks, doesnt it???
titans i can get easily, and relatively cheap too, but parts are kind of difficult to find atm, as there not realy common here, so, i realy realy dont know wich to get???? :(:(

Carbon tail mount isn't really and upgrade but on a Titan if you want push/pull collective you dont have a choice.

umm, wel could i fit that on a V2??
wat is push an pull. isit when the servo utilizes both arms of the servo horn??

Just get a TITAN...its replacing the V2..so in the near future..the market will be flooded with TITAN parts....dont worry
