If I use the EX counter gear for the Evo 50 (part no. 414-169) along with the stock black DTDS gear, will the black gear wear out the Delrin gear too quickly?

If I can get decent reliability by just switching to the Delrin pickup gear, that'd be a lot cheaper than having to buy the whole SD DTDS set at $90.

Delrin is much harder.

get the EX Delrin counter-gear. NO need to get the Delrin SD DTDS setup.

What are you trying to accomplish? If you simply want to get rid of the gear noise then the only gear you need to replace is the main gear. Replacing the main gear is also the most economical since it will cost you less than $30.

I want to get rid of the noise and excessive wear that's coming from the stock counter gear. Replacing the main gear is not the issue.

Hello, reading this - what is the conclusion ? So there is

- Delrin Counter Gear 17T 412 206
- Delrin DTDS Set 412 168 (the two gears with alu mount)
- Main Gear only ? Code ?

So reducing noise and wear-out in future Counter Gear and DTDS set or Counter Gear and only main gear is needed ?

Thanks !
