Oh, man hearing that makes me twitch, Auroras will be here soon. Since I'm close to the beginning of the pre order list, maybe they could bust up some of the last guys kits for parts  . Can't wait

With all the surprises that Toledo has brought the heli community over the past week, who knows what may happen...after all..it's only Thursday!

Hey folks...
Well... I've been looking at purchasing a 90 size heli and tossed around the idea of waiting for the Aurora. So, I PMed Augusto to ask him if it would be released by the middle of summer... Here is the exact quote:

From: Augusto

Yes very likely.

Augusto.

I praise team avant for making sure things are 100% when the kit is released.. they can take as looooong as they ever want man!

first impression is very important, that heli I am talking about is one of the newest and the demo videos show how agile it was.. but they had problems with their machinists..

anyways, my point it,, let it come when it comes, coz by then it'll be just right!

I think I might be doing the same as Mike. Tired of waiting, and it's flying season.

I have to say lads I think Augusto has the right idea of waiting until a product is 100% ready rather than rushing out into production.

Meaning that you would end up having to buy upgrades to get the machine to work like it really should.

I dont want to say names or anything but look at the main competition against the aurora

And when the time comes that I am ready to buy a 90 size 3D machine guess what I'll be buying

Tired of waiting myself went N9, yesterday.

As hooked as I am it's not that big a deal because I'm starting to think I'm not going to be happy till I own them all. When the Aurora is ready so am I.

Dont call me a liar! call and ask them yourself. that is exactly what the guy told me. I could care less I dont want one, I was calling for a freind of mine who has put a pre-order on one...

Nobody is calling YOU anything. There are lots of us here who see Augusto at a lot of events and when he says the machine is ready and at distributors, we will believe it. Augusto is a regular guy just like the rest of us. He wants his machine to be 100% before he releases it and he will not let them out untill he is ready. This is VERY refreshing to me, and you can bet that I will have an E-Aurora (or whatever he calls it) when the time comes that it is available. If it is 2007 GREAT, whenever it is... GREAT!!

I too would be very sceptical if a vendor like HeliProz said they had them now, unless you hear official word from Augusto or Avant R/C. I have heard other things from HP like checks in the mail that did not exactly turn out to be true.... so have others here is what I think the point was.

According to Augusto the hold up isn't because they're making changes. The heli went into production last year and was made available for pre order in February this year.

I'm guessing you'll buy one thats available.

Speaking in Obiwan thought control:

 There is no problem here.
 Ignore facts; direct quotes only hinder.
 It will be here soon.
 All is well. You can go about your business.

I'd rather have a Aurora with warped fans and a huge clutchbell gap.

NOT.

Its better if they make it 100% right on the first time, no matter how long it takes.

I agree with Laurens. Obviously some people are here just to stir. I WILL own an Aurora-E when and only when it is ready. Producting testing and development I don't have time for anymore and the AUrora is the most beautiful pod and boom machine I have ever seen. Really looking forward to flying a 90 size E-Machine again!!
