I've seen some of the scale helis that have painted thier blades. Also read of others putting reflective tape on the tips before V's started coming that way. Thinking of doing something like that myself. If for no other reason than not getting whacked in the chins reaching for the head button

How did you end up with more than one chin, and what are you doing with your face that close to the rotor anyway?

I fly 810 black V blades on a turbine and find them very hard to see. I have used white monokote trim applied to blade tips but for some reason I didn't care for that either. Seems that if you painted the blades, ballance would become a issue. Are there no white 810s?

Mark,
It was just a playful jibe. It made me chuckle.

I think I saw some from SAB or MAH once. Can't remember which had the white blades.
Buddy
Yeah, I got that :)

NHP also has white 800mm blades. You can get them from Len Sabato at RC Helis Plus. The price, as I recall, was around $125.

I currently have white NHP 800s on my Intrepid and they are quite visable. I had black before that and I did notice a difference when I went to white.
