What kind of grease is used for the collective stick inside the DX6i to make smoother?

Shoot....WD-40 with a touch of 90W gear oil orta slick it up James Dean style.
JUST KIDDING. I would clean it and check the tension before I just lubed it. Or...mayybe you have an aircraft radio with a ratchet throttle??

Stay away from petroleum-based stuff. It can slowly degrade the plastic. I suggest white lithium or silicone dielectric grease.
Put a piece of heatshrink tubing over the metal strap and use a silicone grease on it. Mine is super smooth with absolutely no notchiness.

No ratchet action. It’s just a little sticky at times. I’m trying to learn inverted hover on the sim. When I’m inverted and input small collective, it sticks. I noticed it when hovering my Trex 500 but it was manageable. I figured I need to cure the problem while I’m on the sim.
How often do you replace the lubricant?
Thanks for the help.

I have the same issue. I lightened the tension and it helped alot, but still has a slight sticky feeling.

Or food grade silicone. If you get it all over your fingers....you can just lick it off.

u need to grease the bushing if anything, or replace it with bearings.RC Heli Forums - Spektrum DX7 - Step-by-Step Bearing Mod (http://www.rchelimag.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6343&page=1&pp=1)
