How are the vids comming along Bob? I just ordered the belt drive conversion and the metal tail. I will be using the Blade CP Pro head for now and up grading to HDX later. I was planning on using the park 370 4100kv or the ammo 20-30-3600. Would you recommend something else or do these sound ok. I'm not doing 3D. I'm just learning.

I am in a training class for my real job all this week and am WAY to tired when I get home to do justice to making videos. I PROMISE I will finish these early next week.

Ok just got my HDX300 on order. Hopefully be here in a week. I'll be using s3110 servos and a GY190 gyro along with a CC25 speed control. Man I can't wait.

Sounds like a good combo for this little heli.... Not sure how the 3110's will mount though...

I will have the vids done Wednesday morning.

I've been looking at esc's, what's your take on the sonix products?I like the look of this one but can't find any info on the mfg.

The Sonix ESC are OK but be aware they can have some incompatibilities with some motors. E.g. they COG at start up. Other motors are fine so just be aware of that.

I was looking to pair it up with a jgf400dh if that makes a difference.I like the idea of a seperate bec so as not to worry if i'm at the limit of the bec in the esc as most list only 2or3 servos +rx (not even taking in concideration of a gyro or tail servo)

I never even thought of using a seperate BEC. I jest looked at my CC25 instructions. It says 9-10 cells only 3 micro servos. That doesn't leave any room for the gyro and the rudder servo. Hmm. Who makes a good BEC that will wirk with my setup?

I feel there is no need to use parts from a Blade CP or HB CP2. Sell your 4n1 helis and just buy new parts for this one. The only parts you could use is the plastic head assembly and the servos. And we all know we need the cnc head and fresh servos anyway.Just my 2 cents worth. Am I correct? :glasses2:

I agree with Crash549

I didnt reuse much, when building my HDX300. The head and 1 servo.
I'm using the 18A sonix with Align Gyro and Hitech 65mg on tail, witt no problems.

It is important you see the end portion of the head setup vid to make sure nothing BINDS in the pitch range!

I will post again when that vid is up!
