regulator get hot

please help
i have stratus using radio south regulator 5.1 v . every time when i done 15 min fly.. reg get hot , i can feel it ..
how do you guy kept it out of hot
any idea will help

Keep it uncovered and in an area where air can flown through it or around it. Just take some velcro and double side tape it to the side of the frames where a gyro amp would mount or such and stick it there then wrap a strap of velcro around it and try it again.

what kind of batts set up are you running ?

because i know people who is running 11.1v on some regulators like Reg and Durlit and they complain the reg is dam hot. It is because the reg only can run at 7v+
