Got my carbon/G10 parts order in today and I have 6 mounts just about ready. 3 are already sold leaving 3 left.

They come with everything you need to bolt it up to a TPPacks eCCPM equipped Raptor 30/50.

Weight 21.5oz.

Carbon nose mount
Carbon Gimbal
pan/tilt servos
pulleys/belts
hardware
triple disc vibration isolation mount (you can use this or not.. nitro ships need it for sure, most electric may not. deduct 3.5oz if removed)

They come to you assembled. Just mount up the included servos, bolt it onto the Raptor (15 minute job) and go fly! They are perfect for still photo work and damn near perfect for video.

this is what you're able to achieve with a RaptorCam mount:

If you do not have the eCCPM kit you will need to get it as well. I can include that kit for an additional $79. You may want to use some .75" spacers (currently not included) between frame and landing gear to provide more clearance. Alternatively a Vario Benzine landing gear works great and provides an extra 1.5" clearance.

With this cam mount you get 270° Pan & over 150° of tilt. You can put up to a 2lb camera in the gimbal, up to 3lb if you move flight packs or reciever packs aft for balance. The look almost exactly like the ones in the picture below EXCEPT I am utilizing the new lower gimbal design that used G10 instead of the HDPE triangle pieces. Much lighter and looks better. The new lower gimbal assemble is also tunable with 3 selectable settings to allow for varying heights of cameras

I am accepting payment for the remaining 3 now. $395 + $5 shipping

I plan to assemble these before I leave for vacation next Tues. I'm going to try my hardest to make sure they go out before that. Worst case is I ship them out the following week.

PM me and I will let you know how to pay.

don't worry if you dont get these first batch. When I come back from vacation I plan to stock up and be able to sell these on a continuing basis.

** DISCLAIMER**

This is a front mount design. you WILL need to fine tune your Raptor. You must remove nearly all sources of vibration in order to achiever perfect smooth video. Main blades must be perfectly balanced and tracked. Tail blades must be balanced. Flybar paddles must be balanced and perfectly centered on the head. If this is not done I can not gaurantee the vibration free video that you see me post with my RaptorCam. Expect to tune you machine a little once you get the mount. After you've tuned it to perfection you're good to go.

DJ,

The camera mount plate zip tied to the lower gimbal rails.

You've shot video with this new lighter method?

It's all good?

No sliding around or vibes in there?

Just asking because I want to lighten mine up a bit.

Thanks

no issues so far with the strap method. I have some CNC HDPE blocks on the way that use set screws but I gotta tell ya, this method is so simple, light, and effective. However if anyone feels more secure with the HDPE I'll offer that as an option once I get them.

I have probably around 20 flights with the new lower gimbal with 2lb worth of camera/lens on the plate. it'll be fine. for added security you can add a drop or two of CA to the plate/tube joint. It'll never go anywhere.

Cool, just checking.

What is your plate thickness? I only have 1/16 G10, looks like yours might be 3/32?
