I have an Apex 2200mah 11.1v 12c 3s lipo battery pack. Ive charged the battery at 2.2 and 11.1v about 3 times now. The battery is acting like a nicad, it will charge at the right voltage and show to have a full charge but dumps as soon as you apply throttle. I have no clue about lipo but with a nicad this means it needs to be discharged and recharged to erase the memory in the cells.

My question is what do i set the charger to in order to discharge the pack with out it "poofing" "smoking" "burning" "exploding" or what ever else these unstable POSes do.

Im using or attempting to use a Great Planes 1st generation Triton charger, not the new smaller one that just came out. The instruction that came with the battery said to discharge at 12c :?: what the heck does that mean in english.
