GY401/GY611 mounting pads

are there alternatives to those double sided pads?

I'v just purchased a 3M Scotch heavy duty mounting tape that "looks" like almost the same thickness of the ones that come with the gyro.

any info?

I use 3m outdoor mounting tape, its grey with a red backing. I just use 2 layers for the 401.

yea, i remember i had those once, wish i can find them again. well, so we CAN use an alternative mounting tape.

Actually I specifically dont like the Futaba foam bads because fuel gets in there and separates the foam.

I've been using the JR G5000T (not the 500T) tape. Its almost like its made for the 601/611 sensor.
