My TP2100 pack which is almost new (charged 2 times so far) is right now at 9.9v. My TP425 charger/TP205 balancer is saying that the voltage is too low to charge. The TP instructions say don't charge below 3.3v/cell. When I connect to the charger, it aborts. Sounds like a catch 22 to me. How do you get the battery above 3.3v/cell w/o charging so I can charge it???? (I tried charging at .3a but it aborted because it couldn't autodetect.)

i read where some one suggested charging with the nicd/nimh function at the lowest possible charge rate until the pack had enough voltage to charge with the lipo function. they also put a disclaimer at the bottom of the post saying they where not to be held responsible for any damage resulting from doing this. however the person that was told this actually tried it and said that it did work for him. The one that suggested it said it was a 50/50 shot, so maybe try this, or use a triton charger, the pack dropped to 9.6volts and it still seemed to be charging it up very very slowly. my battery that was at 9.6volts was a apex 2200mah 3s 12c lipo, dont know if it makes any difference from brand to brand if the charger will charge the pack or not. i also take no responsablility for damage resulting if you deside to try this method

it can be brought back as explained above, just stay with the pack until it completes the charge.
I've used my hobbico MKII to revive overdischarged packs..

Crazy #%$^! electronic crap. After repeatedly getting the error and abort, I measured the voltage it, it was 10.47v. I said why in the world is the charger and balancer messing up? So I hooked it up again w/o the balancer again and instead of selecting .3a, I selected .8a and now it is charging just fine. Go figure. I just wasted all night with this.
