While slowing down my blades after a flight I noticed that my swash wobbles just a little when the head is turning. I can see a small amount of movement at the servo horns on the tri-plate. Its not noticeable in flight. Took off the blades and can feel the swash moving a minute amount when turning the head by hand.
It seems like the main shaft is bent. Thing is the heli has never been crashed so thought I'd ask to see if anyone has any other ideas before I replace the main shaft. Has anyone else noticed this?

If the swash has any lateral moment (side to side) on the shaft something is defiantly wrong. When mine spins down nothing moves. Things in the head should be tight as possible without causing servo strain.
Is this new bird? Are all your links the same size, bearings notchy? Any links stiff?

This happened to me and it ended up being the crappy stock main shaft bearings. This was after 1 1/2 gallons of fuel. I first thougt it was slow head speed. Anyway, give'em a look. Hope this helps.

There does appear to be some lateral movement of the swash when turning the shaft. Its a minute amount but it is there. Not easy to spot, its only visible if you look very hard at the servo balls on the triplate.
Got about 4 gallons through it so far. Links are the same and none are stiff, will check the bearings.
Thanks for your thoughts.

dont know if its of any relevance but my 600NSP had the same swash wobble, and head vibes on first flights... bent main shaft right out of the box. Gap when rolling on a glass table... LHS put it on a mill spun it up and confirmed it was bent just out of curiousity... so it is possible.
