I don't like screws, so I glued my canopy together with RC-53 glue. Should I add the swcres too or will the glue work with the milk jug style canopy long term?

I am also thinking of painting my canopy, but I've never painted a canopy made of this material before. I have painted plastic like this using Krylon Fusion paints made for plastic, but I really wanted to use some other stuff I have that will work on ABS plastic, giberglass, and metal. So, whats the verdict? Use stickers? Fusion paint? Any type of paint?

I have painted other Hirobo canopies made of this same plastic.

1) Sand it with 600 paper to remove the gloss
2) Take a butane torch and quickly run it over the entire canopy. The point is not to get it hot but to leach it. I was told this tip by a guy that lithographed this type of plastic for a living.
3) No go to the auto parts store and get a rattle can of what is called "bumper adhesion promoter". Shoot 2 thin coats of that on the canopy.
4) Now shoot it with primer (thin coat) and then sand again with 600 paper to get it smooth...

Now go ahead and paint your colors. The KEY is to not get the paint too thick.

Here is a picture of my Hirobo Freya platic canopy whic is made of the same plastic.
