View Full Version : SGP crown gear support troubles
I went to install my crowngear support, and found that the hub protrudes about .002" below the bottom surface of the crown gear, thus leaving a small gap between teh gear and the support, leaving teh support usless.
Anyone had this trouble, if so, what has been the remedy?

You might want to email Scott Gray and see if he can help you with your problem. Since Scott is the one that designed the product. Here is Scott's email addy.

Yes, I have run into three folks who mentioned having the same situation withe the SGP bevel gear support. David H's advice is probably the best way to resolve the problem, however the gents I have spoke with wound up milling a small amount out of each side frame to allow the assembly to be aligned with the output gear.
