Leaving for Tucson tonight for an early AM shoot tomorrow. Going to shoot all electric from the E*RaptorCam. Bringing the nitro strictly as a backup. I have 4 sets of packs. I plan to fly 9 minutes on each, take a 10 minute cooling break, start charging the first packs while flying the 2nd and 3rd with cooling periods between.

I wish I had one more charger and one more set of packs but I think I can work this shoot with what I have. If I have to bust out the nitro I will but I'd like to try not to

Hey DJ I thought you were heavily in bed with the gassers at one point for AP.

Just curious why ya have a nitro for a backup and not a gasser. Werent ya also looking at the AP Turbine helis also? How did all that work out for ya?

I too love my Ehelis and good luck on your shoot!

the shoot went better than I could have hoped. Never busted out the nitro ship. Managed to do the enire shoot with electric power.

anyone wanna buy my nitro RaptorCam?

I was last year when I "thought" that's what you "had" to have. Truth is something as simple and cheap as a stretched electric Raptor can provide the same or better results.

DJ,

Did you use FP and prodigy packs?

How many sets of each did you use?

What type of runtime did you get out of the prodigy packs?

Thanks

used FP, Prodigy, and TP packs.

FP was used in 11s 5000 config and gave me about 10 minutes with 20% left in pack.

Prodigy 10s 5000 gave me 9 minutes with 20% left in pack

TP 10s 8000 gave me 14 minutes. don't know how much was taken. havent recharged it yet.
