I have a chance to buy the above for about GP£150-200 (us$350), I know spares may be hard to get, but is this a good heli? what aboout this make of engine? what should I look out for.

I plan to use this heli as a camera ship for AP (less mess than glow and cheaper than electric setup) would it be good for this or are vibs to much for decent photos (stills)

Open to hear all pros and cons

Look up how the tail pitch slider is well suited for your requirements or not , I've had a few Kalt helis and they verie from from having a ball raced tail slider or not.

Beam us a photo or two on your thread  . I'm currently building a 60 nitro and am wondering about a petrol to suit indeed a 'camera ship'. The engine has to be a the real modelers well balanced type or it will shake everything apart .(strimmer engine!!? :bomb: )

Awww Man !
This old Gasser is not suited for comercal AP. Nor is it suited for fun AP.
This heli is best suited for occasional nostagic use at fun flys.
Probably not what you wanted to hear but the truth IMO.

I'd like to see what your servo layout looks like as I'm amending mine as for a swashplate number one type is some what useless against any wind.
I'm concidering appling two standard servos per channel, I'm sure my son will understand what it all means when he has ahold of the controlls.
