Today after flying and landed my heli i notice there is like 3 teeth missing on my bevel gear ( #0866-5 )

Anyidea what cause my gear teeth to break off ?

But even thought 3 teeth was missing, i tried flying it, i was impress that the heli tail hold up quite well

I wouldn't fly it like that. Most likely your mesh was not set correctly. Also if you nick the tail blades on landing you can chip some teeth off.

Are you using the brass spacer and shim under the bearing block? When I was setting the mesh on my machine I just tossed the bass spacer and shim. Lift the heli by the head and set the lower collar. Then push down on the head to set the upper collar.

Also make sure the bevel gear is set in the center of the crown gear.

Ok thanks. When i order my new gear i will try to follow the steps to mash the gears.

Btw, is the part number #0866-5 correct for the stock bevel gear ?

Thanks,
Kenny
