It is a windy day at 15MPH but she did a test flight and as you can see it did very well . Had to stay below the tree line. http://www.flygsw.org/yabbfiles/Attachments/Aug_13_2006_low.wmv
This is the video we took and picture of it in flight. :D

that's a good start John. glad to see you've got your rig airborne.
put some big nasty flybar weights on there, reduce your ATV's to about 60% of what you normally run, dial in about 45% expo and soften the pitch curve near hover. do those couple things and you've got a setup nearly eactly like I run and it'll help smooth things out.
you stretched yours right?? did you like how it handles the weight?
I see no engine vibes though which is always a great thing!
Keep at it! :D

very different flying. Like I said the wind was kicking me around a little and my wife was doing the camera and trying to get the feel of it. I am missing one belt for the pan and tried rubber bands to do this flight and see what she can do the heli not my wife. She can do anyting she wants too because she is my camera person and banker :D . As soon as I get the rest of the parts I shall have more and oh YEA GREAT MOUNT. :D

Oh yea I put a third axis on the mount to level the camera using the rudder trim switch. My wife was checking everything to see how it work in flight and it all worked :D

You will really like it. Mine is a little nose heavy but I will take care of that befor the next flight. The wind was above 15mph that day and were I was flying it will take your heli away in a blink. So I stayed low to get the feel of it. But all in all it is what DJ said it was and is a fine mount. I have made some of my own mods to it like the 3 axis. You can see it in the video my wife was taking. That is why I put it in the video so you can see her move the camera side to side using what would be the rudder trim. If you look to the rear of the camera you can see the servo. The camera tray and triggers is made of carbon fiberthat I formed to fit that camera and is very snug in it but I used velcro on it just I case.
