The Bergen is a gorgeous machine. What is your flying style? The Fury Gasser should be out VERY soon from what I hear.

I personally would wait just to see what the Fury Gass is like before making the final decision.

The Carbon version of the Predator will be out as well and that is one Sweet flying machine. 1900 head speed and plenty of POWER.

I was just going through the same thing. I decided to go for the Bergen. It's going to have better support and reliability than the Predator (though it might not be as nimble as the carbon Pred) and cheaper crash costs than both (definitely cheaper than the Fury - arguably cheaper than the Pred).

:D

As I said before, the Bergen machines are GORGEOUS!! Larry and Chris and Malorie give support and customer service second to none. The Honest main reason I am waiting before getting my gasser is because if half the rumours about the Fury Gasser that are floating around are true, it should have some very nice new features not ever offered on a gasser before. I don't want to perpetuate any rumours, for obvious reasons. (WRONG :DOH )

That is why I'm waiting a few more weeks........ Just to see for myself. As soon John Garst gets his, you can bet there will be photos and video on HF. :glasses2:

If the rumours are false, and the Fury is not all that, I will definitely be getting the tried and true Bergen. I just want to see the new Fury before I plunk down all that $$ for either one.

As for the Predator, I know a couple people we fly with who have them and they are good machines, fly good and are a lot cheaper to buy than the Bergen or Fury.(Maybe not to crash) From my experience with Raptor 60's and all the upgrading to the 90's I'm currently flying, I personally want a top of the line machine from the get-go even if it costs more $$. I will most likely be owning whatever I buy for a very long time and I want it to come standard with bling. The Bergen is definitely BLINGED out to the max already...the fury.... should be ... we will hopefully find out very soon.

HTH, it is my real personal opinion from what I have observed at the flying fields we fly at. I have not really seen any other brands of Gassers and I don't know anything about any other brands than the "Big 3"

My Bergen Gasser has the G26PUH in it..

Smooth, powerful...

If the fury flies like an extreme on gas it will be awesome...

But I hope they beef up those pushrods as they are weedy... bent them big style on my YS91... what will happen with 26CC torque????

Which pushrods?
Only time I have bent any on mine is when I crashed it.
I like the idea of the pushrods bending. Sometimes is saves the servo gears after an oops. :D

Get a Vario Benzine. Much less parts to break and Vario has a new importer who I believe will have several in the next few days.(East Coast Vario)

It is personal prefference. Get the one YOU like! (then you have no one but yourself to yell at)

I own 2 Bergen Gassers. The service is very good. The Bergen Helis are the best, IMHO. No upgrades needed, or really available. They fly great, and the control system is what everyone is starting to copy. If you want a non ccpm machine, I feel Bergen is the way to go.

All helis have their good and bad points. All pilots have their favorite features. Go with the one you feel the best about.
