MA parts numbers & Questions

I need some kind soul to help me on MA parts numbers.

Anyone can tell me what is the part numbers for the following items ?

1. Metal Swashplate guide kit ( Stratus )

2. Metal Washout base, or one set with the metal arms. ( Stratus ) I am not sure do you call it the washout base, but for Raptors that's the name for it.

What is the use/different of the one pieces dampers for Stratus compare with the 'O ring damper' come with the stock kit ?

The metal washout base is 0571 and the swash anti-rotation bracket is 0823-2.

I'm not sure that the one piece dampers fly any better when they're new than the "O" ring dampers, but they sure last much longer. With the "O" ring dampers I was getting only 15-20 flights before I was changing rings. The one piece dampers have been in many times that with no wear evident. Of course I haven't removed them to check, but they seem fine.

But how do u see whether or when do you need to change the O ring dampers ?

Do you have a picture of the dampers like how it look like when it is wear out ?

The outer damper next to the shim will usually be protruding and will be cut. Usually this is detectable just by looking at them. Another way is the grips will see saw very easily in the head block.

Sookainian,

If you go for the new one piece dampers they will last a lot longer and are easier to fit.

I would stick with the plastic washout base as the metal one is prone to wear.

ic, then what about the metal anti swashplate thing ?

You mean the anti-rotation guide?

120-91 I think. I ordered one a couple weeks back. I'd have to check my orders folder at home.

yes, for the stock kit, it is a plastic pices which HOLD the swashplate from rotating.

I check with my LSH they say 0823-2 is discontinue.

Found it, the 120-91 is the guide and bracket.

The one I got was the titanium colored one, not the black coated one. Thought you'd like to know.

cool. But mb the black colour will look good too, because the frame is black =)

btw, why it say for FURY ? can use on STRATUS ?

Yeah. Should be no problem. My frame is black on my Spectra, but it's nice to have the swash and anti-rotation bracket in a titanium color. Looks good.
