Ark has done new tail grips for the plastic and a new cnc head that replaces the bushings with bearings. I found them today at grand rc. :banana

Isn't there a problem with this new head?
I am in the market for a metal head (I hate the red..and the blue colors though)

The new head is good the problem is the seesaw screws are not the proper length and will eventually pull the threads out of the aluminum seesaw.
There are several threads that address different ways to reduce or eliminate the problem.
There is a great looking replacement unit from the swash plate up at GrandRc in charcoal grey (Ultra Head combo) http://www.grandrc.com/inc/sdetail/29690 for less than the price of doing the full Ark/Helimax aluminum conversion one piece at a time, the trade off is you will be flying an MXREX400 after conversion.
