I'm replacing a bunch of 9252 gear sets. I had a hard time removing the bearings from the output gear. The top one was harder to remove than the bottom one. Is there a technique that makes this easier?

Or do you usually just re-use the existing output gear?

I just take a screw driver and wedge under the bearing. It just takes a little pressure to pop it off the shaft.

I use a razor blade from a utility knife and rock it in there till you get some room under it. I had to do the same thing on my TRex micros to get the bearings out.

I take the back (or the front, depends on how much space there is) of an x-acto knife/hobby knife and walk it around the edge between bearing and the bottom of the output shaft. This should walk it up a little bit for you to get under it a little more. From there it should be a no-brainer.

I could tell you guys how I get the bearings off myself but yall probably wouldnt understand. It wouldnt take but two pictures to show you though. Ill see how bad I can confuse you guys. :)

I take the gear with the top facing up and stick an alan driver on each side where they both look like this |o| but closer and between the gear and the bearing and then pry both up and the bearing slides off. Understand?
