Sup current and soon to be fellow mSR owners and flyers! I've been coming across alot of good enough over the past few days on our beloved little helicopters and I thought it would be nice for the new folks coming into this to have a nice central place to get some good suggestions and tips on running, flying and maintaining their mSRS. So I put together a little video to help them out and get started on the right foot. Feel free to comment and or suggest!

I know you're new, so here's a couple of suggestions, meant in the friendliest way:
Swashplate... not swashbuckle plate. Flybar, I forget what you called it. Other than that, good job!

Great video. I learned quite a bit. I can't believe how small the batteries are.

Good job Freezebyte, just two things I want to mention. Your "drunk squirel" looks like a roadkill :YeaBaby: I haven't looked at the instructions but I'm surprised Horizon didn't make the charger overcharging proof, like most high end chargers. A problem I had a couple of times while I was moving from location to location with the throttle stick all the way down is that the stick is VERY loose. Why is that a problem? Well, not really a problem but while picking up the TX, the stick is so loose that the throttle goes up so I have to remember to hold down the throttle with my tumb. I don't really worry about that with my other helis since I have the TH activate.
Thanks for sharing your findings and experiences. I didn't know how to center the trimming.. now I do thanks to you ;)

First time I walked into the LHS, I called it a swashbuckle as well. :) But, I had just finished watching Pirates of the Caribbean and that's my excuse.

Great Vid.
Perhaps add a section aboutthe delicacy of the blade grips. Running the blade grips screws out and adding a half drop of CA to the joint before replacing the screws will undoubtedly lead to a much more robust rotor head, and prevent the loss of those dang tiny bushings.
... really great vid...
