View Full Version : Redundant holes on Main shaft

My appology if this has been answered before. There are two holes at the end of the main shaft. I checked the online manual (screenshot attached) and it appears that the bottom one is to be used for the screw through the main gear. Am I to use that bottom one? If that's the case, what's the purpose of the upper hole next to it?

If i remember correctly it was to lower the head down for flybarless setups.

I also notice that the flat spot is not drilled correctly. Do you guys make a new flat spot or just turn 90 degree and put the hex screws on the round area of the main shaft without a flat spot?

You sure you got everything lined up? My flat spots were right in place.
