hey guys i am currently buildind 2 hornets that i aquired some time ago, i need some advice on them as i am only aquainted with raptors,fury's,and align helis...
Heli No 1 this heli will be my baby. I will only do stuff I know (I know never works out that way )
ms 116 esc
mcp motor with 25 tooth pinion
futaba 3108 servos all round
sab non weighted main blades
bell hiller kit
lightened paddles
autorotation hub
receiver jeti rex 5
ms 044 head lock gyro (need your opinion on this gyro… does it work well or is the 240 the go.. just wanted to stay with the ms 044 gyro ?)
battery 3 cell tp 1320 or similar
ms carbon tail blades
Heli No 2 will be my so called shit kicker
ms 016 esc
ms 001 in runner motor with 11 tooth pinion
futaba 3108 servos all round
std fibre main blades the ones with the wide chord at the hub that taper off to the thin tip..
no hilier kit
no auto hub
receiver jeti rex 5
ms 044 head lock gyro (need your opinion on this gyro… does it work well or is the 240 the go.. just wanted to stay with the ms 044 gyro ?)
battery 3 cell tp 1320 or similar
std tail blades
I will upgrade to the auto hub and hilier kit when $$$$ come available. How will it fly without hillier kit…
also have the chance to have the hornet 3dx with the same setup as the heli No 1 what do u think. Is the 3dx any better than the hornet 2 ?
I can do basic 3d with my fury and wanted to set these up for doing the same…
