Still wondering if my order of 2 white pulleys (which came out black!) are the old or the new ones.

Slyster...not sure about Minnesota..but it is the weekend in Massachusetts and not one is around to ask!! LOL! (Don't take that serious....Just giving you a hard time!!)

I will try to get some answers this week...you would think it should be as simple as calling Outrage Factory and asking...but that is not always the case...as soon as I know for sure I will post...

I'll email HD.. but I doubt they are really in a position to know the answer?

It's only 09:58am Monday morning, you asked about this after hours on Friday, give Greg some time to investigate and he may have to contact the manufacturing plant which is NOT in the US.

I actually work for Prestige RC...we are the US distributor for Outrage (but I am very deeply connected to Outrage...see sig...also been very good friends of Charley and Vikki for a few years now)...

Helidirect is just a dealer of ours at Prestige RC...but they are the dealer we chose to be the issue point for warranty replacement parts for Outrage...as we as a Distributor are not really set up to deal with the general retail public...

Greg ,
This always "bothered" me , do you commute daily between Orwell and Boston or do you work electronically "remote controlled " ?

OK...I just got confirmation that the factory did indeed ship out the old Black pulleys...I was told that the factory will be shipping today...the correct white pulleys... unfortunately the factory is overseas and Prestige won't have them in stock to ship out to our dealers (Including Helidirect) until sometime next week.

We (Prestige RC) have records of dealers we sent these Black pulleys to the past week...and will send replacement white pulleys to the dealers as soon as we get them in...they in turn should send out to you retail consumers...

I am very sorry for this mix-up and truly do understand the frustration this might have caused some of you...not all the original black pulleys wobble very badly...some were pretty good...so I would not just throw the one out that you just received...I would put it in your parts box in case you have an instance where you need to use it...at least temporarily until you can get a new one...

LOL...no I work from my home...I would not be happy in Boston area! LOL...too far NORTH! I already "winter" in FL to get out of the cold in OH! I am actually in North GA now...and will be in North FL a little over a week from now...Team Outrage is going to the VA Heli-Invasion next week in Fredericksburg, VA...then I will head to Jacksonville FL area until the middle of May...then go back to OH when it is WARM there!!!!

This does create issues sometimes...as it would be very helpful sometimes if I could just walk out to a parts bin and pick up the product in question and check for myself...

Who lives in CA? I live on the East Coast! Not the West Coast...

You are such a Canook! LOL! :tongue

BTW...here is the Urban Dictionary definition of "Canook"

A Canadian. Also known as North American's less trigger happy half.
One who drinks real beer, rules at hockey, invented both basketball and baseball and insists on wearing a Canadian flag while traveling abroad so that someone doesn't mistake them for an American.

So you just lock up your house and go south ? Or do you have peple living there when you are gone .

Boy , oh boy , you leave your house here locked up and within weeks the sqautters will move in - and if you don't evict them within 2 weeks , they have tenure

Tell you what , I'll go stay in Boston any day , mmm no, maybe at Cape Cod , plenty of fields to fly helis !

Be patient, HD will ship (2) replacements to you as soon as they receive them into stock, Greg has already identifed who received the black ones and we will all be taken care of, and yes I noticed the white pulleys were back in stock and ordered a spare for Steven and received a black one and contacted Greg and Charley over the weekend

You need to remove you pulley and heat it with a torch (don't melt it) and then clamp it in a vise and bend the protruding section.
