I'm not one to kiss Arse, but I have to say "thank you" to Finless for the T-Rex videos.
they say "A picture is worth a thousand words" but the pictures and words in the T-Rex manual is worth sod all ( when a company wants a manual translated from Chinese to English, why do they always seem to employ someone who's first language ISN'T English ? )
The videos are a great resource For all those just about to build there first Rex. also just to check that we've not missed any tricks that we can use next time or how the hell to set the thing up.
Anyway, Thanks again.

ps, just dumped 3 random pictures from my T-Rex photo diary ( as I have all the aerial control and grace of an oven ready chicken, I tend to take pic's before the next flight ( if anything has been upgraded ) as it may not come home looking so shiny )

This really does not help with the myth of Finless Bob's name, however the picture does show one of Bob's early experiments involving head spead.

Also if you notice, Bob's left leg is "Finless"

Great! Now THAT would be your avatar Bob! Just size it down and you're set to go! Nice, retro, very trendy, funny, daring and goodlooking.Take it!

Also not quite on topic...

Bob was recently photographed hover testing the as yet unrelaesed TREX 4800. (sorry no build videos).

A few things to note:

Bob is using a stealth radio, the gimbles are in his pockets.
Bob did remove the tail fins from the final build.
The lipo packs are wired in series, take 2 days to charge and are not commercially available.

The Hele is a Hiller NC-5 / UH-5. The people pictured are Hiller and one of his chief engineers. Hiller designed the flybar/paddle system as a means to make his helicopters stable and some what predictable.

I also have a picture of Hiller and Engineer "kind of" in a Hiller 360 (prototype) flying over San Fransisco Bay. By "kind of" Hiller and his engineer had climbed out of the cockpit and were standing on the landing gear while the hele was in flight to demonstrate the stability of Hillers control bar system. (just need to scan it)

I have a book that is the history of Hiller, has lots of good info.

Heheheh, I understand Hiller and know about the flybar and where it came from... I also am up on Bell too.... I studied this is school in 1978 :)

I thought maybe that picture was real and a old remote controlled real heli... You fooled me....
